Flamborough Valley Camping Resort

This is a very nice campground, although it is pretty much parking lot camping. This campground is new and the owners are already working on adding more sites (both transient and seasonal sites). Check out the web site, it is not the typical type of campground we visit but being there for a dog show this weekend I was very impressed with what they have done in the 7 short years they have been at it.

I give it [thumbs_up] [thumbs_up] (for the type of campground it is)

We have been there many times and plan on going back at least a few times this summer. The owners are the nicest campground owners that we have met in this area.
The fire is the main comfort of the camp, whether in summer or winter, & is about as ample at one season as at another. It is as well for cheerfulness as for warmth & dryness. Henry David Thoreau

We too will return this year, ABI Dog Shows (All Breeds International Dog Shows) is holding 7 shows there this year and we plan on making a few of them. Marabeth as far as the owners you are 100% correct!! I have met very few campground owners that are as nice as them and they go out of their way to make sure everyone is completely happy while staying at the campground. Unfortunately they had some damage durring last Thursday's storm and we would have driven right on by if it wasn't for our Garmin! The main sign had been blown down as well they lost most of the pool solar panels off the roof. He was telling us of the damage and he already had arranged to have the repairs done starting this week.

I have already told DH that we WILL be making it to at least one of the shows;

My sister, her family (my two little perfect nieces) and we will hopefully be going to this campground for Canada Day. DH has to work that Saturday and the campground is closer to his office than our house :) So it was easy to convince him to commute.

Tried to book here for this weekend- they have been booked for a LONG time. In fact, are booked for July, and almost full for the August long weekend already.

Bummer. We'd like to try this one.
