We went this past weekend and dispite the rain, enjoyed it. We were on site 33, a little short but a good spotter can put you right on the back so a 30' will fit. The site was crushed gravel and uneven, it took 4 lego blocks on the passenger side to level it out. There were some nicer spots- 31, 35, 23, .. that are longer and larger out the side for dogs and such.
The park is large and 95% full. Although there were a lot of peeps, it didn't affect us- we used our own facilities, did our own thing, so that wasn't an issue. There is a second dump station right at the toilets where we were. Its not advertised, I actually think its the pump-out port for the honey wagon but we saw a lot of users, so we used that Sunday morning so there was no line up at all.
Oh, speaking of toilets, these ones closest to us were flush and very clean. Odd. I noticed though that the sink outside drained right to the ground!! Not to the holding tank or any septic bed. Again, odd.
A lot of trails for walking, jogging, biking. Bridge for fishing. Camp store was expensive for ice cream and worms, but oh well.
We noticed that there was a lot of house flies where we were. Could have been the humid weather and awning to explain why they were all grouping around us, there was no food or dead animals, so I am not really sure. Just an annoyance.
We would go back, hopefully on a sunny weekend next time.
