Very good point ... I wonder what would/could happen if he de-badged the truck ??

I beg to differ, they are adults and it is neither my responsibility or place to answer a question about other adults' mother in my truck ....If they were underage , yes , it is their responsibility and they need to ask I have to answer. They Know these two are adults ... That is why I gave this particular example.

Possible reason why the question could be asked.

Where is the mother, did you leave her in the US/Canada ie illegal alien?

Might have nothing to do with your kids being an adult and everything to do with why is the family NOT together. See what I mean.

Last weekend we were asked why my parents brought their own trailer and not in our vehicle (they were behind us in line). We said 4 dogs and we want to like them when the trip was done. LOL

We can take this off topic and discuss in front of a fire Jahna ... And adult should not be asked questions about another adult who is not crossing the border with him. But they do and they will. That is the whole point I am making. If they asked me where she is I would have to answer no idea, should they ask me ? NO I have no link to her neither do the kids. Once you are an adult you are on your own.

And when you cross the border they know exactly when did you enter, with whom, where did you say you are going, so they have a pretty good idea that there is no mother anymore around. Anyways .. nice camp fire topic :) I gotta work little bit ! :)

Coming back they don't ,,, specially if your in the Bus/RV lane ... the customs agent has no idea when you left as they don't have (or at least last time I crossed back they didn't have) quick access to a 'puter with that info ...

WGF3 wrote:Same truck, it just got rebadged (thanks to GKZ). I did it for a couple of reasons, we are heading to the US at the end of the week traveling trough 4 states and I don't want anyone to give the truck a second look when they see a RAM 1500 pulling a 30' 5'vr. I think I've been at 3 campgrounds this year when I got "Your pulling that with a 1500?" Also at the Peace Bridge CBSA they asked TrailBlazer a couple of questions about the size of his truck and weights, lucky he was ahead of us that day.

,,, I'd of told them ,,, Hell yeah ,,, don't you wish you had a 1500 that could tow a 30 foot 5er !!!

,,, As far as the Badge issue ,,, if I wanted to stick Chevy or Ford Badges all over my Ram in any size and could afford to buy them ,,,, I think that would be my business .

,,,, DON'T the truck size come up on the registration when they run your Tag ,,,I know they see it when they look at my INS. Card or registration ,,,, I could be just advertising the other size trucks .

,,, JMO ,,, I don't think you will have any legal problems .

We are away on vacation this week, but my dealer just sent confirmation; the Eco-beast has landed and is sitting at Kennedy Ford

I'll swing by and take a look at it on Monday.
